When I was young and my family would go and visit our grandparents, we would often sit around eating sweets and sneaking a cup of coffee, reading, playing games, working puzzles, and learning to crochet. Back then, crocheting for me was just another thing to do to pass the time.
I didn't truly appreciate the value of this wonderful craft until much later, when I was in my teens and twenty's. Then I would pick up a hook and make something, and love the results, but then I'd put it away for lack of time or energy.
Well a few months ago (now in my thirty's), I picked up a hook again, and this time it stuck for good! I just can't sit down without a hook and yarn in my hand, excited about the possibilities. I sit on my couch surrounded by yarn (much to my daughter's delight), and I am thankful to have a husband and daughter who support me in this adventure!
I've called this store Cozy Granny in honor of those…
