This past year my daughter came to me and said that she wanted a nice unique scarf. She did not want to buy the same old commercial ones. I told her that I could make one for her. I could tell that she was hesitant and was doubting my skill. But I didn't blame her for having doubt, because I have not done any needlework for years....
After I finished school, I was too busy making a living and raising my two beautiful children ( Jeff and Steph ) and totally forgot about my beloved hobby CROCHETING... This brought back the good memories I had when I was riding school bus to and from school. All my other friends were either sleeping or playing games on the bus.
I was the only one doing my crochet work >.<. I remember I taking on one extremely advanced pattern that took me nearly all semester to finish. (:
I don't consider myself a professional crocheter, but I became really happy to see Stephanie wearing each unique scarf or hat that I made for her because it makes me proud when her friends give her good complements on them :D

Stephanie now has many scarves now, and suddenly I realized that since winter is here, it's really cold outside, and my other sweetheart, Shilo also needed new sweaters too. She is a Jack Russell Terrier and is a very sweet loving dog. People always stop and complements her on the sweater I made,and it really lights up my day when I hear them.

The only problem that I have is that when I started a project , I always want to see the end product so badly that I can't seem to put down the needle~~~ My daughter even told me that I was so hooked on it and that I was obsessed (;
