I have over 40 years of fiber experience,starting at age 5,learning to knit.
My knitting always has looked different,and someone told me the other day that Im a continental knitter!Dont know how that happened but its just been passed down from generation to generation in my family.

Sewing,embroidery and quilting were next,as everything that was made was used in daily life.

I learned to spin at age 23 and just kept on going! :] I made a Jack Loom at age 24 just to see how the whole thing worked!

All my batts are made on my Pat Green Elsa Card.I was excited to travel to Canada to pick up my Elsa Card and Triple Picker from Mr. and Mrs. Green.

For those of you who dont know, Mrs. Green is AKA Paula Simmons,American Spinning Icon and author of many books on spinning,weaving,raising sheep,and even cooking! Paula is an important figure in the home spinning and weaving revival that started in the 1970's

My fibers come from around the world and back,and Im glad to pass on the savings to you, the customer.I dont feel the need to over charge for fibers or postage.
