About

I have been making fine jewelry and creating lampworked beads since 2005. I am a self-representing lampwork artist and all of my beads have been made by my in my studio in Eastern West Virginia. My beads have been included in several lampwork calendars, and the juried publication "Bead Review 2". I work primarily in soft glass, but occasionally will play with hard (Boro) glass as well.
My COE 104 Dichro stringers are the only COE 104 dicer stringers that I know of that are available for sale on a regular basis.

Made from dichroic glass encased in crystal clear glass, these stringers are a wonderful way for anyone to add the sparkle of dichro to their lampwork without all the scumming and fuss that often occurs when working with dichroic glass.
When I am not at my torch, or creating jewelry, I work as a nurse in the Emergency Room of our local hospital, and am in graduate school to become a pediatric nurse practitioner. In addition to my 2 daughters, I have a son who has Aspergers Syndrome - on the Autistic spectrum and a husband who is amazingly supportive and tolerant of my glass addiction. We share our home with 5 cats, 3 rabbits, and 2 rats who graciously allow us to live here in exchange for food.

Because my daughters and I have spent a combined total of nearly 6 months on crutches over the past 2 years, I developed a line of crutch covers to make life on crutches easier and more comfortable. Check out my Etsy shop The Classy Crutch for crutch cover sets in fun fleece colors and repurposed wool. My other Etsy ID is theclassycrutch
