About

Hi everyone! My name is Denise, but since we will surely become friends, you can call me Neicy :) For as long as I can remember, I have done any type of craft I could get my hands on to try. My mom taught high school Home Economics and could do it all, sewing, knitting, crochet, you name it she could do it, and I was right there learning all that I could. Years ago, a chance walk by a bead store with my sister was the beginning of my new love. I returned to the store, took a beading lesson, and never looked back. I have been making jewelry ever since, even working in bead stores around the city just to be close to my beloved beads. I later worked in a craft store (that also sold beads by the way), and was able to go back and dabble with a variety of crafts again, but the pull from the beads was too strong. I stopped into that first bead store I passed by years ago, where I was now a regular, and the owner was selling the shop,…

I stopped into that first bead store I passed by years ago, where I was now a regular, and the owner was selling the shop, so I bought it. I can't tell you how much fun it was being around the beads all day. The only drawback that I didn't contemplate was the paperwork. I spent so much time on that, and keeping the store stocked, I couldn't play with my beads and do what I really loved...creating beautifully handcrafted jewelry. So sadly I closed my shop, but kept every single bead and have continued to add more, because you can never have enough beads. With this growing collection of wonderful beads, I am happy to report that I have been forced to continue my love of jewelry making. I love the creative process, and have explored several beading techniques which are featured in my jewelry. Each piece is carefully constructed using high quality materials. All work is done in a pet and smoke free studio. Thank you so much for checking out my shop, and I hope you will stop by again, as I will add new pieces often.
