Hello and welcome to Curious Wing!

The world and the people in it are my inspiration, in everything I do.

I love to travel and have been lucky enough to have made it across the globe and back, sometimes stopping and staying someplace long enough to gain the ultimate blessings; new friends, new "homes" and new creativity.

I've always felt that if everyone were able to travel gobally, outside of their comfort and familiarity zone, it would go a long way toward ending racism, hate and even war. I truly believe that ignorance is behind much suffering. It's so much easier to think of others as "them" instead of "us" if we've never had the opportunity to meet and learn who "they" actually are.

Anything rich and bold in color, texture, form or character, I love deep, striking pieces but also have a soft spot for the more delicate and nuanced hues, I also have a secret passion for textiles and fabric

My own family is a bit of a "stew" of nationalities, which I embrace and am proud of. We are a mixture, a wonderful soup; Taborda Indian, South American, and European.

I try to buy all of my products and materials from Fair Trade sources and / or known businesses with a good reputation in Nepal, Tibet, South America as well as New York and Los Angeles.

I love to mix colors and materials from around the world, to try and capture somewhat of a global feel, so that you might wear a pendant or ring and touch it, thinking about where it came from and how it got around your finger.

Everywhere is exotic if you're from someplace far away and different from it.
