About

I love a good sundress. Growing up in south Texas I learned early on that it is one of the most versatile pieces in a wardrobe. Making a big ol' mess and playing dress-up were (and still are) two of my favorite things, and as the daughter of an artist and an architect I was (and am) encouraged to do both. After graduating from the University of Texas in 2007 with a degree in History I decided to start making messes again. I launched CurryBeth in March of 2008 and every day since has been super fun. My dresses are handmade in a little white house and inspired by the colors in my mother's paintings, my father's structural eye, and classic American style. More than anything my designs exemplify my own personal aesthetic and are simply dresses I feel pretty in.
