Susan Patterson's Profile

About

When you’re a girl growing up in Iowa you learn how to sew.....no exceptions. Later, you go to college, start a career, go back to school, start another career. And in between you sew. It can be a curse sometimes. “I can make that,” you say when something catches your eye or you don’t like the price of ready made. And then one day a friend admires something you’ve created. So you make another, and another, and another. Supplies accumulates. You buy a second machine. You take over the spare bedroom. That’s how it starts. It’s called CUSH.
