About

Growing up I spent a lot of time going with my mother when she taught crafts and watching my father build things around the house and carving wood in his spare time. As a result, I love making all sorts of things.
I am a 2000 UMASS Dartmouth grad with a BFA in sculpture. I loved being in school and would stay in the studios many nights until the security guards would kick me out. I chose sculpture as a major because I never could make up my mind on which materials I wanted to work with. Nothing has changed much.
I am currently working on fused glass, jewelry, pottery, macrame, mosaics and learning to sew. My plans far outweigh my time and studio space.

My family spent many Sunday mornings wandering the isles of The Elephant's Trunk Flea Market in CT (which is still there and bigger than ever) looking at all the old and odd things people were selling. And then in high school my big sister introduced me to thrift stores. I was hooked. Finding old things and giving them a second chance, keeping perfectly useful things out of a landfill, making one thing out of something else that it was never intended to be.
My site is a combination to reflect those two aspects of my life, making pretty new things and finding funky old ones. I hope you like it as much as I do.
I couldn't be more excited to finally be able to spend time working on my Etsy store. I had had a shop for a while but wasn't able to devote time to it because of my day jobs.
