Meet Cyn, aka Moon Hunter. Why do I call myself Moon Hunter? My name literally translates to Goddess of the Moon Hunter. Moon Hunter! :)

A little about me: I was born in Colchester, CT to a loving family. I went to school for environmental science and engineering. I have been a professional metal musician for over 18 years, mostly singing professionally, though I also play guitar, bass, and keys. I've recorded 4 cds to date with different bands, and also write my own music. I am very devoted to the people that I love, and value peace and serenity, unless I'm on stage with a band. :D My fans call me Cynystyr for a reason!

First and foremost, I practice tolerance. I firmly believe that everyone, regardless of faith or tradition, has the right to practice magick. I believe that spirituality is personal, and that everyone has the right to walk their own path in peace. The blends and ritual supplies I make can be used by anyone, of any faith or level of practice. I'm always happy to offer advice based on my experiences, but I'm under no delusion that my way is the only way, and I tell people all the time to follow their heart first. :)

I found witchcraft at the tender age of 14, when a nun at my all girl's catholic highschool showed me a Scott Cunningham book. (No, I'm not kidding.)
I consider myself a green witch or hedge witch, though I tend to avoid labels, and have always had a knack for herbs, both medicinally and magickally. I collect rocks and crystals, and enjoy a quiet life on a mountaintop in the Poconos with my two cats and my two parakeets, unless I'm out rocking and rolling.

I have a natural knack for herbs, healing, and medicine. I have an uncanny ability to identify what an herb is used for, magickally or medicinally. I suspect that this ability is inherited, my great grandmother was a hungarian midwife, or herbal doctor. However, I am not one who believes in generational claims... just because my dad was an engineer doesn't make me one. I've put years and years of practice and study to use, but first and foremost, I trust my gift. I put what I've learned to good use, making herbal medicines, charms, spell kits, herbal oils, salves, incense mixes, spell bottles, kits and ritual tools, and then some. All my creations are protected by copyright.

All of the herbal formulas you see in my shops, be they an incense, a medicine, or in a bottle, are all my own blends that I devised myself. I was blending my own formulas for decades before I decided to start offering them for sale online. I bring to you my gift, hoping to help people across the world.

I started reading tarot cards when I was 15 years old, and still have and use the same deck. I didn't know you were supposed to use a book, so I learned to read intuitively. I offer readings via facebook, when I have the time to do them!

Yes, I take custom orders, for both jewelry and for spell kits, herbal blends, and more, just ask! There is no intention that I can't make, though there are some that I may advise against. ;)

When I'm not crafting, I'm making or playing music. My workshop here in the Poconos doubles as a music room, the creative energies in that room are really something else!

Nice to meet you, and Brightest blessings! Please call me Cyn!
