Cindi Hardwicke's Profile
Inspired by a walk in the woods, reading a fantastical story under a Sycamore tree in my youth, a beautiful sunset, or the wonder of my students....my creations convey my fascination of nature, it's colors, textures, and forms, as well as, it creatures. Some of my creations are also inspired by world cultures and recent trips to exotic places.
My current favored art forms include ceramics, jewelry, and torch-worked & kiln-formed glass, I also enjoy creating mosaics, mixed media and photographic images.
My teaching philosophy focuses on integrating art and creative problem solving across the curriculum that includes science, nature, world cultures, environmental concerns and civic awareness.
My work has been exhibited in “Art of the State of Pennsylvania”, the Equitable Gallery in New York City, the City…
