Cynthia Zmetronak's Profile

About

Clay has been a passion for me since my childhood mud pie days. Currently I have home studios in Florida and Canada. My work is divided by temperature range and style. My black and white earthenware (low fire) sports whimsical canine and feline motifs. These pieces are functional and lead free. My high fire stoneware work is thrown on a potter's wheel or hand built, then, stamped, altered and glazed
to create one of a kind functional and decorative pieces.
I have recently studied at Penland School of Crafts for the past year to refresh, renew and learn more about pottery. I consider myself a life long learner.
