I have two great loves, and I'm lucky enough to be able to incorporate both into my daily life. From about 8am to 5pm I run the most wonderful little preschool in Brooklyn. Then, I get to spend my evenings cutting, sewing, and knitting these one-of-a-kind creations. Seriously, how lucky am I?

I think I may have been born with a glue gun in one hand and knitting needles in the other. My earliest memories involve crayons, glitter glue, and construction paper all over the kitchen floor. I taught myself to knit about 9 years ago, and over the years, it has become my craft of choice, for the most part. I'm still not above glitter...

I get it from my mother, who has said, more times than I can count, "We can do that!" And then we did.

I still do. It's in the blood!…
