Late 1800s mourning necklace with bog wood, what appears to be that- a material used by Victorians. The piece has brass, glass beads, and floral elements. Pearls maybe glass or real, I'm not certain. They look real up close.

Vintage 1960's hat created by Dayne Originals. Layers of alternating taupe and black velvet cascade down from a center point covering the crown of the head. Interior is a stiff net base with a velvet covered wire edge.

Label is Dayne Originals

Condition: Lovely, shows no wear or age.

Inner circumference is 21 1/2 inches but given the style most any size head could wear this.

This is a fabulous vintage 30s 1930s hand beaded evening bag in the shape of a basket. Made in Czechoslovakia.

Hand beaded with gold on black micro beads in a lovely floral basket motif and shape as pictured.

The back of the bag is identical to the front.

Double "O" Ring Handles embellished with hand beading as pictured. Made to hold on your finger while dancing.

Zips closed across the top with a silver tone metal zipper with the original ball chain pull.

The bag is lined with black faille cotton. One small interior pocket.

DESIGNER LABEL:

Made in Czechoslovakia - Embroidered cloth label (not pictured).

FABRIC CONTENT:

Cotton with beads. The handles are covered with cloth and beads but are probably lightweight metal.

CONDITION:

Very Good ~ no odors, stains, rips, tears, holes, fading, or discoloration. There are a few scattered missing beads which aren't noticeable at all.

Appears to have been gently used and very well cared for.

MEASUREMENTS:

5" Tall - top of frame to bottom of bag
6-1/2" Tall - top of "o" ring handle to bottom of bag
7-1/8" Wide across top of bag

An adorable little purse - perfect for the formal event when you want to carry just a few things.

Vintage YSL Tuxedo Suit // Authentic 70s Yves St Laurent Le Smoking Suit Rive Gauche by Catbooks1940s

I screamed like a little girl when I first saw this. A vintage Yves Saint Laurent Le Smoking tuxedo suit?! Eeeeeeee!!!

It’s every serious fashionista’s dream. And here it is, BY Yves St. Laurent. Not Tom Ford, designed by no else but the master himself.

It has a cropped or bolero jacket, with magnificent wide satin lapels and matching turn-back cuffs. Beautiful curved detail below the single glossy button closure. Buttons on the cuffs, too.

(By the way, YSL has a Le Smoking bolero jacket on their site now. It’s not as good as this one, and the price tag is $2350. Yep. For just the jacket.)

The pants are high-waisted and wide-legged, with the traditional Le Smoking satin ribbon down each leg to match the lapels on the jacket. Slash pockets, metal front zipper.

Lucky is the girl who gets this piece of fashion history.
