As long as I remember I have loved paper.
In my teenager years I handcrafted a lot of things; it was great fun, but I also believed that I had to learn something 'proper' to earn my living.
So I became an Architect. I enjoyed working with old Buildings; the fabrics and crafts that were used to build them. But I worked less and less on/with Paper, all was done on Computer and in the end of the day: I did not create something with my own hands.
Computers are a blessing (as long as they do what you want to do) but instead of being an additional tool it seems that Computer are regarded as 'wondermachines' and that they can do e v e r y t h i n g. Computers have started to replace skills: you get flawless designs but you loose the imperfections, which I love.
