I live next to the Atlantic Ocean. Everyday on my way into the studio I get to check out the many faces of the ocean blue, lovely and inspiring. My skills were honned at the University of South Florida where I picked up a bachelors degree while absorbing myself in ceramic and sculpture classes, as well as spending all my free time exploring the clay. I spent several years, after, working as a ceramist and sculptress in gallery with Ruth Durrenmatt, a wonderful Swiss -German Artist in her own right and daughter of acclaimed European playwright and artist, Fredrich Durrenmatt. About

My studio has been in close proximity to famed South Florida and European Sculptor, Henry Moretti, where over the years we have exchanged our sculpting philosophies as further incentive for creative inspiration. I have shown and sold collections of works privately and over the years in several galleries. More recently, I continue to research the clay focusing on creating additional collection pieces and sculpture. All the clay work is done with my hands. I work with clay slab and coil techniques. I apply several stages of preparations to my clay surface before hand carving, drawing into the piece. Multiple glaze processes are applied and multiple kiln firings take place to achieve the look and feel that I want to evoke with each piece. All collections are original works of art, signed and numbered.

If you have any questions about the work I will be happy to communicate. Thank you for visiting.

*Selected works at the L'eche-Vitrines Art Alliance Gallery, and The Heart
to Art Gallery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
