Deborah was an award-winning fine artist, craft designer and a graphic designer before starting DAS in 1997. DAS is a fruitful marriage of Deborah’s legacy, her entrepreneurial savvy, and her experience as a contemporary artist. With the collaboration of talented designers, expert sewers and fine jewelers DAS has grown into a nationwide reaching accessories business.

DAS creates functional yet gorgeous products. Utilizing the finest salvaged brocade silks, Spanish tapestry cloth, metal, Czech glass, Austrian crystal, and semi-precious stones, these designers engineer handbags that are both a work of art and utilitarian. DAS is family working together, sharing, sewing, beading, feasting on fabrics, storytelling and creating. Crafting to order each piece, all DAS products are produced in unique San Francisco style.
