Pottery:
The intention behind these objects is for the user to take more than a moment for the ritual of coffee or tea. The form encourages a careful and meditative approach. In addition, there is a hint of whimsy to lighten the mood, to remind us not to be too serious at all times. Slow down and breathe in the face of daily chaos that is stress.

Bio

I’ve created sculptures, paintings, public art and pottery for 23 years and own the David K. Austin Gallery in Petoskey, MI.

Publications; Ceramics Monthly, Northern Express, Traverse Magazine, Christian Science Monitor and numerous regional newspapers and newscasts.
