I'm a mama of 6 mostly grown children, and grandma to 8 sweeties! I love sewing, quilting, hiking (Check out Zion Nat'l Park if you haven't already!), hanging out with family (I'm so lucky to have all 6 of my kids living within 10 min.!), and reading mysteries and crime stories. I enjoy tuning in to I.D. TV, Discovery Channel and History Channel while I sew. My 3 cockatiels (a cinnamon, gray, and lutino) make me smile; it's so fun to go bird-watching in my own family room! My Sunday School class of 4-5 year olds is too cute and I love it when they accidentally call me "grandma!"

My faith is God is firm and immovable... I know I have been sent to Earth by a loving Father in Heaven who created me and loves me unconditionally, and who cheers me on when I make wise choices and who wants to see me succeed.

I know our trials are part of our mortal experience and that no one is exempt from the "bumps" in the road of life. As the Bible says, (and here I paraphrase, lol) Even the holy prophets suffered stoning, starvation, burning, crucifiction, bonds and persecution, and if they had not, then even they could not be exalted and live with God again. Am I better than they? No. We all must be refined through suffering and all of the experiences that life offers. I am grateful that I have been given the gift of mortality; of a physical body that I may learn to control and use for the good of others, and thankful for the sacrifice of my Savior, Jesus Christ, whose feet I will someday fall at, and thank Him for His kindness and love and saving grace. I love Him and hope to live with Him and my Father in Heaven when I am ready. I am so very far away, but cannot give up. This is my testimony: that God is our loving Father, and Jesus is His only begotten son in the flesh. Jesus lived a sinless life and because He loves us, He allowed Himself to be lifted up and crucified in order to pay for the sins of those who would repent and turn to Him, and follow His example. He did indeed rise on the third day, and he appeared to his apostles and several others so that He could teach them and so that they could bear witness of His divinity and His resurrection. This I leave with you, in Jesus' name, Amen.
