Debora Anne Melott's Profile

About

Hello fellow lover of beautiful things. Most of my life I have created and made artful items that are delightful. Growing up in a highly creative family, my mother designed and directed large shows and productions at our church. My father and mother wrote and presented beautiful children's shows with their two winged darlings, my sister and I, singing, acting, and running the performing puppets.

I continued as an adult to make, teach, and sale my delights at street fairs and art shows. When I discovered antique/ vintage furniture and housewares for mere dollars at Flea Markets and thrift stores, I was addicted. Hello fellow lover of beautiful things. Most of my life I have created and made artful items that are delightful. Growing up in a highly creative family, my mother designed and directed large shows and productions at our church. When I discovered antique/ vintage furniture and housewares for mere dollars at Flea Markets and thrift stores, I was addicted. My friends encouraged me to rent spots in Antique malls and I found this to be a great outlet for my precious finds and handmade lovlies.

I love to sew and design pillows and tea towels with vintage french labels, artful decor, personal practical beautiful accessories, adding old papers to my journals for inspiration, quilting, and hunting for more beautiful vintage notions and wares to create with.

I love roses on China, shabby chic white furniture and fell in love with Paris the three days I was there. Right now I am excited about old postcards from Paris, beautiful french inspired crystal jewelry, handmade cashmere flower pins from old sweaters, romantic floral labeled candles, french millinery graphics for jars, journals, and lavender sachets. I can't get enough of french teal blue and deep rose pink, Limoges plates and dishes and anything with a french flare. I have many of these treasure waiting to find a home. I hope you can meet them and welcome them into your life. Au revoir mon ami, and God bless! Madamoiselle Delvina, (Ms. Debbie).
