About

De(sign)de(velopment)loco(place) is a series of trunk shows for textile lovers, conscious consumers in search of inspiring and original handmade home accessories.
Our pre-loved items are all OOAK – one of a kind, carefully handpicked during my travels, in which I combine vintage hunting and product development with artisans. At Etsy, only vintage collections are available due to its rules.
Our first collection is Boucherouite, an unique, inspiring, eco-friendly sort of rug.
These rugs are hand-loomed from textile remnants of cotton, lurex, nylon, synthetic fibers in remote berber villages in the Atlas mountains - Morocco. Made exclusively by amazigh women. A haven of inspiration.

A bit of this nomad soul behind Dedeloco: Italian origin, born In Brazil, have worked in the brazilian, american and swiss financial markets, quit my career to start a more fulfilling one - scour the globe for fine handicrafts, vintage and new ones, as a result from partnerships with the makers. It comes from the source!
Université de Genève and Intl Organizations helped me paving this new path in teaching me Management Development. Magazines, Scandinavian design, Provence, Blogs, Fashion, DIY, helped developing a sense of aesthetics, simple yet original. What is behind the object, its story, is what attracts me the most.
So delightful to offer you with human touch and uniqueness.

Welcome to my world...

Warmly,

Elaine
