About

Hi Everyone, thanks for coming by to visit. I am fortunate to be able to work outdoors in one of the most beautiful places in the world...Utah. I am a geologist by day working in government for the State of Utah. I love my job and feel very lucky to do what I do.

I also love rocks and jewelry making, particularly wire work. I love finding a rare stone and trying to find a way to incorporate it into a nice piece of jewelry. Some of my favorite things to do are to go rock hounding with friends and family. I also enjoy seeing what I can find at the local gem and mineral shows.

Art is such an amazing gift to humanity. I was told once by an old friend that a mineral specimen is nature's way of perfecting art.
