From a very young age, I knew that I would grow up to be a designer-crafter-left brain imaginer. Sometimes I thought my parents wanted to kill me everytime I put a new hole in the wall or changed the furniture around in my room or started a new project that was larger than life and would be up until 2:00 in the morning trying to finish it for school the next day. Even in the midst of their anger, they always encouraged me towards success and for that I am forever grateful. As I've gotten older, thankfully I have learn (it's a daily process though) to harness that imagination and put it to work.

I graduated from Liberty University with a BS in Family and Consumer Sciences...within that major, my specialization/concentration was interior design. I've worked for a high-end design firm, drapery company, decorative home accent store, paint store, kitchen and bath showroom, and more recently I am working as a teller in a bank. At this point, I'm not so sure how that fits into the picture of my life, but I sure am learning a lot and that's just as important, but it also stirred back up my desire and NEED to have a creative outlet...enter ETSY!

Hopefully as I continue to work on crafting more and more items, no matter what your Design Style is, you'll be able to find something you like...strike that LOVE! As for myself, I don't really have one particular style that I stick to. I love all different types of styles (with the exception of country) - I guess you can call me ECLECTIC through and through. I love the juxtaposition of all kinds of patterns, shapes, colors = JOY!!!

One of my favorite verses is: "By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures." Proverbs 24:3-4. When I come to ETSY, I know that I will always find rare and beautiful treasures!

On a personal note, I married my high school sweetheart (yes, it can be done and no we didn't go to the same college...long distance relationship for 4 years) after I graduated college. No kids yet, but we're still young and we do have a rotty-lab-beagle mix dog that we adore.

Thanks for visiting my shop!
