About

My sorted past has inspired me to live off of hardly anything and to stretch my resources to the fullest. I love patching clothing, or turning used clothing into something new and spectacular. I love the way that hand stitching looks imperfect and personal in comparison to machine. I love flawed, broken, tarnished and aged items and materials, and how they create more character.
Now I am a mom and as cheesy as it sounds, it makes be as environmentally conscious and ethical as I can in effort to make a difference in his future. I draw inspiration from everything around me... from high fashion to street punk and from nature to industry.

Favorite materials

Like a mocking bird, attracted to all things shiny, I prefer to buy second hand items from non profit thrift stores for my clothing creations, although I do buy new fabric as well, I love metal, crystals, semiprecious stones, leather, lace and all things mysterious and sexy
