Can't help it. I have been a "maker" my whole life, and I revel in the sheer joy of creating things. Over the years I have learned to sew beautifully, crochet well, knit badly, do increasingly lovely wire work, metal work, and bead work, and work in the thousands of ways that one can work with polymer clay.

Divine Depth: the name of my shop refers to a profound quote I love: "Find the divine depth of the ordinary." I find something greater than myself when I make art: especially when I make art with ordinary materials like wood, clay, glass, and upcycled or found objects. I love all the beads and pieces of metal and rusty bits and small found objects like twigs and feathers and animal teeth, and the good black ink and fine white paper and oh yes the silks and fabrics and embroidered things and I love it all

Whenever possible, I use vintage, old, broken, and recycled beads, findings, papers, and fabrics. I am a big believer in good stewardship of the limited resources we have been given. I always used recycled shipping materials.

Custom orders are possible, and I do like to SWAP with people: if you like my stuff and I like yours, let's just exchange! I am willing to work with overseas shipping, just convo me.

Have a marvelous day and thanks for looking!
