About

My mother started me off at three with knitting, crochet and embroidery and I haven't stopped since. I am also a fine artist - drawing and painting out my fantasies and inspiration. I believe art should not be separated from our daily lives so I evolved into an artist/designer/artisan. I belong to something called the Tivoli Artists' Co-op which is a supportive group of artists that has a gallery nearby.
I began selling my works in NYC during the 60's making children's clothing for Chocolate Soup and the Children's Workshop. I moved to San Francisco and sold crocheted hats on the street and was part of an artisan's shop called Cathexis.

I moved back to the East Coast and worked as an arts administrator for several organizations but found it too left brained and dropped back into the right brained world of making things. I had an open studio for several years but retreated into the privacy of my own. I began painting silk and then started making garments. I have been selling in a variety of local craft shows, shops and galleries. My joy is making a variety of things and I discovered Etsy.com and I think it will be the perfect venue for me and my clients as I design my way into the future.
My other area of interest is working with Alzheimer's patients doing art activities.
