Dan likes taking junk that no one else wants and turning it in to one-of-a-kind jewelry, home decor items and yard art that can be used for years to come. Although he'll work with most raw materials salvaged from any cast-off source, old silverplate flatware represents the signature feature for most of Dan's work.
Dan lives on the beautiful central coast of California with his wife Kari and their two daughters. He is a stay at home dad who loves his job and his family. Dan strives for a zero-waste manufacturing process in his small (obsessively clean) workshop.
Kari has much less ambitious goals and simply makes little pretties from otherwise useless bits to satisfy her own creative spirit. She loves old game pieces and finding new ways to give them a second chance. There is something really great about taking other peoples discards and creating something that you (and hopefully others) think…
