About

And so it all began…
my kindergarten “painting” of Apollo 7 was selected for national exhibition. This small event so many years ago set me off on a creative journey that would last a lifetime. Eventually my passion for art lead me to sculpting with wire - from very large pieces that hang from the ceiling to tiny pendants that hang from your neck. I’m hooked on wire "looping". Wire looping originated hundreds of years ago and was used to make simple baskets for carrying food. The technique involves "looping" a single strand of fine wire into interlocking loops creating shapes. I like to create shapes that are unusual, curvy and have a delicate lightweight appearance. Many of my pieces hang from the ceiling. Others are designed to set on a tabletop. And some are worn around your neck or on your wrist. Special orders are welcome. Hope you enjoy browsing!
