About

I am a part time professor at a community college. I have taught jewelry classes for 17 years. I maintain my own studio where I create all my work for myself, Etsy, commissions, and shows. I have a BFA in drawing and also in metalsmithing. I received my masters in metalsmithing from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Everything I make is unique and one of a kind handmade by me. I love making things!

My most recent series of pieces consists of working with plastic. This is a new material for me to play with. I love casting, dying, and manipulating the material. I make molds from old, broken, discarded antique items and I give them new life in a modern material. I still try to incorporate metal in the pieces. I love strange sometimes creepy objects that time has forgotten about.
