Hello! and welcome to my Etsy shop, "doters," --a natural extension of my lifelong fascination with anthropomorphic art, this shop offers my best efforts in one-of-a-kind mixed media doll and figurative art! Each finished doll bust and limb-set is hand-built from stoneware clay and decorated with high-fire ceramic stains and fired to over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit and then sealed in beeswax after emerging from the kiln. I sell both completed dolls/figures and kits. Completed dolls are assembled onto fully articulated cloth bodies that are jointed at shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, as well as wrists and ankles (unless otherwise noted). Figures mounted on bases are usually constructed with similar articulations, some of which become fixed once the figure is mounted on its base.
