About

In my life before clay I taught elementary science. However, pottery waylaid me about fifteen years ago while taking the first art class of my life. From the beginning I was fascinated with clay both as a medium and a process. Trusting to serendipity I returned to school to study ceramics. After graduating I established my own studio and have never looked back.

I love how ceramics combines physical dexterity and aesthetic judgement. I love creating objects that bring together beauty and utility. Most of all I love when it hits me on a Sunday evening that I get to go back to work in the morning.

Thanks for visiting!
