I'm an archaeology professor and mom who loves to sew and knit in my "spare time". I started upcycling to make useful and fun items for my family and friends and have decided to bring my creative projects to you.
I started making toys for my eldest son in 2006 when there were so many stories about lead-laced toys in stores. I strive to make toys and clothes that are safe, fun, and environmentally sustainable. I am an expert seamstress, who learned her sewing skills at a young age in Indiana's Amish country. I have been sewing for more than 30 years and take pride in making each item beautiful and durable.
I make my creations nestled in my restored 1916 Craftsman home and surrounded by my boys and husband. My family loves to get outdoors together when were not working and playing at home.
My other love is art…
