About

★About the Crafter:
I live in a small farming community in southern Minnesota. I commute to a larger community and work as a library assistant by day.

By nights and weekends, I dream and sleep soap - it's a wonderful medium to work with and the possibilities are endless. For me, there is nothing better than a good book and a hot bath. (And maybe some chocolate.)

And when I'm not making soap, reading a book or sneaking a piece of chocolate, I'm making other crafts. I especially enjoy working with fabric and fibers. In college, I was a costume designer for plays and enjoy all fabrics warm and fuzzy.

I've been making soap since 2001.

Please convo me anytime for any questions or just to chat. Also...I love to trade!…

★About the Soap:
All of my cold-process soap is made from scratch the old-fashioned way and utilizes organic ingredients, skin-loving oils and butters.

I use essential oils and organic materials and also often can't resist the smelly-wonderfulness of fragrance oils and super-bright colors. The ingredients are always top-shelf, cosmetic grade, and the soap is made from scratch - so you always know exactly what's in it.

Making a soap that uses organic ingredients supports organic, sustainable farming practices and keeps alive non-bio-engineered plants and seeds. I am very excited to be participating in this movement!

★Why Go Handmade for Soap:
Handmade soap in general is a zillion times better, in my opinion, over store bought detergent-based soaps. It retains its naturally-occurring glycerin (often stripped out of mass manufactured soap and sold as a bi-product) and care and attention to detail shines brightly in a well-made soap.

I hope you'll let me get you hooked on handmade soap and luxury bath and body products.

P.S. I'm also "MNLibraryGrrl".
