Marissa Saints' Profile
About
I founded Dsenyo in 2009 after living and working in Malawi, Africa. Dsenyo (dee-SEN-yo) celebrates beauty and empowerment. Our line of fair trade goods includes jewelry, handbags, ethical fashion, and gifts. Each fair trade product is handcrafted by women and artisans working to build a better life and inspire social change in their communities.
Dsenyo is the result of combining my experience in fine arts, graphic design and international development. We exist for two reasons:
ONE -- Dsenyo exists to support jobs and a stable income for women and artisans working their way out of poverty.
TWO --Dsenyo exists to create beautiful products that are all about color and design so women in the USA and other developed countries can align their spending with their values.
I am the owner, designer, sales rep, public relations…
