Color is my forte. My favorite childhood present, and most exciting scent, was a new box of 64 crayons! Books with pictures win over words only and colored pictures are best. “What color is it?” Has always been my first question in deciding on a bike/cat/sweater/car/house/etc.

My passion now is to portray the shores, sands, and scenes that God created and make them available for others to enjoy and remember year round. I love plein aire painting, and also studio painting, (due to our climate). My studio/gallery is in the village of Cedar, in Leelanau County, Northern Lower Michigan. “Land of Delight”, from the original people, is truly what our peninsula is. From Lake Michigan’s sandy shores to bays and lakes, with rolling hills, woods, fields, orchards and vineyards it is breathtaking in all seasons! It is immensely inspiring, to see and hear, firsthand, the reactions and comments of customers and to find out what excites them about our Water Wonderland.
