Jeff Rottman's Profile

About

Since 2002, I have been a studio potter working from my home as well as a community space at the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art. I now have been using my own studio space, Studio6thB, which I run as a community space for other potters. All of the pottery I sell is made exclusively by me, giving each piece special attention. The inspirations of my collections come from my curiousity of unique serving dishes and the cultural uses of ceramics. I feel my work parallels the styles of current bistros, cafes, delicatessens, and local restaurants.

All of my glazes are lead-free, food, microwave and dishwasher safe. Check out my full catalog of items on www.dutchlakepottery.com, or see my blog at dutchlakepottery.blogspot.com.
