I enjoy yard sales and flea markets immensely as the variety of old beads and findings is amazing. I sometimes find odds and ends of yarn too for my granny square blankets. A lot of the pieces and parts I acquire this way would have suffered a terrible demise in a landfill somewhere. I am so excited about recycling "useless" items. Sometimes a coat of paint, a little embellishment, a ton of love, and Tah Da! In a throw away society I love being a saver.
