About

I am inspired to reuse items in different ways than their original purpose. I like the surprise, the discovery, the creativity and not adding to landfills. My raw materials might be discarded or overlooked by others. Mainly, I use tin, both vintage and new, but I also include other found objects in my jewelry.

If you have a tin you wish to turn into wearable art, please contact me and we can come up with a super way to repurpose it.

What do I want you to know about my jewelry? I love the color of the tin and I feel strongly about the importance of recycling. These two loves are combined with lots of care to make jewelry people are always asking me about. You'll find pictures of my rescued tin with the jewelry made from it when I can remember to take a photo before I cut. I use cold connections such as rivets to connect tin pieces together and always make my own ear wires from sterling silver wire. I do not use light weight aluminum, preferring the feel of tin.

Remember tin is the traditional gift of ten year wedding anniversaries.
