About

I learned to sew as a child, thanks to my grandmother. I've been sewing and creating all sorts of things since childhood (Luckily I didn't pursue a career in making cardboard-scrap pirate ships), and am happy to have made this my full time work.

I enjoy working with natural fibers most. Wrought with beneficial attributes, they can have the lowest impact when grown and processed responsibly. I use fiber reactive dyes, which have a very low impact on the earth when the dye process is through.

My designs all stem from a desire to be comfortable. I choose fabrics that present the most ease, and cuts that are flattering but not restricting.

I want to have a relationship with those who wear the clothing I make, I want them to be comfortable and happy. I want to encourage people to make informed decisions when purchasing clothing. By purchasing from myself and other designers of the same ilk, you are making the decision to be responsible about your fashion.

Everything is designed, sewn and dyed in my studio in Western North Carolina.
