About

Hi,
Since retiring, I've been able to explore my creative side and found a wonderful craft that I absolutely love....wet felting! Although I'm not trained nor schooled in the arts I found that wet felting allows me to create things I never thought I could do. It's magiical taking loose fibers such as wool, alpaca, silk, bamboo, llama, camel (the list goes on and on), adding a little water and sometimes some soap, then transforming it all into a wonderful, new and unique fabric. When our family was very young I began sewing. Clothing and home furnishings mainly.

All in all, retirement is wonderful. I work most days on various felting projects, but do it at my own pace. One of my daughters-in-law joins me some days and it is a great way to bond with her. Plus, our youngest grand kids (boys and girls) each enjoy a session of felting or knitting. So much fun and wonderful memories.
