I was interested in resin jewelry because I love the idea of image as gemstone. The thought occurred to me in the autumn of ‘07 that I might make my own. WIth a fair amount of experience in working with polymer resin (albeit on a much larger scale), and a vast catlologue of photographs at my disposal, I decided to delve in.
The photos I was drawn to for the collection were my travel images, specifically black and white, for their timelessness and clarity of composition.
