Elsje Boer's Profile

About

I find myself complete among snowy winters and long summers of gardening. In-between, I sew. I love picking up where my Oma left off, and am fascinated by the history revealed in a well worn textile. How it became worn, who wore it, what it was used for, what hands repaired it or made it to begin with. I especially like to incorporate bits of the existing tailoring in my reconstructed garments.
