Karen Carr's Profile

About

I was raised in hand-made dresses and PROMed it in a vintage (1985) Simplicity pattern dress made by my mom. It was unique and I didn't have to worry about the dreaded site of someone else in MY dress! I took up sewing to earn my Girl Scout Badge and in my 30's, as a stay-at-home mom with two kids, a house and no budget for the ridiculous price of curtains, I FINALLY got my own machine!
Now, 10 years later with THREE kids and my own sewing ROOM, I'm able to contribute to the family financially by doing WHAT I love, and still be at home with WHOM I love.
