On the side of my day jobs I design and create kawaii style plush toys based on animals and nature which I call Ogl Dolls.

My passion is all things kawaii and designer toys. I love absolutely everything about them!

Hello and thank you for dropping by! ^_^

My name is Emma

I am a Graphic Designer and Illustrator born and bread in the pretty little town of St Neots in the Cambridgeshire area of the UK. I work as a cook and PR for my local tearooms.
On the side of my day jobs I design and create kawaii style plush toys based on animals and nature which I call Ogl Dolls.

My passion is all things kawaii and designer toys. I love absolutely everything about them!
During my college days, I would sit for hours just sketching random cute characters in
my little sketch book, when it suddenly came to me... 'These would look amazing as plush toys'. So four years ago, I set to work on designing templates and chose fabrics
which I thought would really highlight their unique characteristics.

My dolls were originally comprised of a distinct oversized eye on the right hand side of their faces (which is where I came up with the name). However, over the years I have developed my characters to become more adaptable and individual, yet still hold their distinct flat, round design.

All my dolls are lovingly designed and hand sewn completely from scratch, with an abundance of high quality materials from plain to patterned, furry to fleecy. I even recycle clothing such as jeans, t-shirts and dresses!

I am a massive fan of Japanese toy art and illustration and so my work has been highly influenced by their cutesy, yet quirky style.

I charge a fair and honest price for all my toys, as many of you artists out there will know, a lot of time and pure dedication goes into every piece.

All fabrics I use are CE certified and facial features sewn on for extra safety for young children.

I hope you enjoy my dolls as much as I love making them.

Keep your eyes peeled for more new and exciting characters. It may take a bit of time
as my characters are pretty time consuming to produce.

Thank you again for looking xXx
