I should also mention that I "am my father's daughter" ~~ I grew up behind a small grocery store in Detroit, then my dad became interested in auctions and that turned into another whole business, called "The Oddball". He bought out stationery stores, flag factories, restaurants, all at auction, then filled his pillared former bank building with the treasures!! What fun I had pouring over the tables filled with antique sewing trims, papers, heavy restaurant bowls, and even unidentifiable objects that I just had to have. Many many folks enjoyed the special deals and oddball items they discovered in his store! Me too.
