Katie Clark's Profile

About

Greetings from Maine, where I sew and needle felt, work as a family literacy program coordinator, write and cook, and tend to my Angora goats and family.

Recently I heard some one say that what you were passionate about as a nine year old is what you will end up doing as an adult. How true that has turned out to be for me (much to my continued delight)! Back then I made gnomes and a dancing doll partner for my sister, and wrote The Little Black Kitten. Now I still make gnomes and cuddly dolls and have four children's books to my name.

In between I have been a second grade teacher, a homeschooling mom, and jewelry maker.
