Dana's Profile

About

A collaborative effort of husband and wife, Dennis and Dana. Artists and designers, we live and work in a 6,000 square foot warehouse across from a park within sight of the city lights. Ephemerascenti is a natural derivative of years of obsessive collecting.

Our backgrounds and further work in related areas of design provide a consistent directive to spot and create trends. Each piece in our collection contains a narrative, whether it is a description of how, where, or when it was procured or details about the object's distinct character. We share our vision culling from our collection of unique objects, some exhibit a timeless design and presence, while others suggest an ephemeral, fragile beauty.

As artists and designers we have been featured in and on local and regional newspapers, magazines and television programing. We have also had the distinction of having our studio, loft, and collection including our intuitive and outsider art featured on HGTVs "Extreme Homes."

We are fortunate to live where we work, happiness! while not on site. Urban dwellers we also seek sanctuary with our dog Mica on daily hikes. In the spring we photograph wildflowers, in the winter we enjoy the waterfalls in their frozen states.

Please visit our blog. It is intended not only to showcase objects in our etsy store, but it also includes work from our intuitive and outsider art collection, personal and business related projects, photos of the studio, and links related to design and the arts we find relevant. We hope to gain your interest and feedback! Thank you!
