About

I'm a "doll dad" (hence my original shop name "Doll Dad Stands") as my wife and daughters are avid doll collectors! These stands grew out of their desire for sturdy, stable, saddle-type doll stands, which could fold-flat for travel. I've worked hard to try to get these stands "just right" and I hope you will find them as wonderful as my wife and daughters do!

By day, I'm a Chemical Engineer. By night, I'm a wood working hobbyist. I'm also a multiple stroke survivor (2012).

UPDATE (Jan. 2018): I have branched out into metals and have begun making pendulums for dowsing (and wearing, although my first ones are a little heavy around the neck).

I making my creations, I noticed that I am creating a small amount of scrap. I work for a company that manufacturers equipment for the water industry and I do not want to add more scrap to our landfills. As I was thinking I have begun to get the bug to do more metal working and reuse my scrap and have been scouring the internet for ideas. I hope to be able to some day do my own casting (it looks like a lot of fun!) and make even more creations. Hopefully, I will be able to get the creative juices flowing and be able to share them with everyone.
