Artist Statement:
My art reflects my quest for knowledge. I want to know how to make things and how things work. I like to use the materials I have at hand to make something old new again: ergo, altered books/suitcases, collage, decorated “treasure” boxes/bags. Anything vintage sparks my interest. Today’s “vintage” was “new when I was growing up and is a 'comfort' word for me. My passions are blogging, altered art, artist trading cards, quilting, reading, golfing and interior decorating.

I retired in 2005 after a 40-year career in finance. Now it’s time that I have fun exploring more creative activities. Life is not stagnant. It evolves. My goal is to change as…
