A lover of lingerie and all things burlesque, I have picked up my once-abandoned notions of being a designer and sprinkled them into the melting pot of currently practiced careers. Formerly, I have been a retail salesperson, barrista, sometimes bartender, events coordinator, vintage buyer, retail bookkeeper, ballerina, figure skater, competitive ice hockey player, and high school drop out. Currently, I am a freelance writer, sometimes fashion model, dancer, and person who sews things.
On a more serious note, I didn't really drop out of high school, per se. I have an AA in Fashion Merchandising, and a BFA in Fashion from the Academy of Art University. I began sewing and learning about the art of apparel construction at the age of thirteen by looking at clothing inside out and compulsively taking things apart.
